Prudencio Saez 1 – PS

I was hesitant initially to purchase the guitar online without trying it out, regardless of how many times I’ve been searching for,  everything I want to know about this particular model on the internet. I sent a text inquiry to Guitars From Spain, and Ed didn’t take long to get back to me even though he was out of the country at the time. Through several text communications, I got the feeling that he is not just selling instruments, he actually loves them and would like people to enjoy them as well.

That evening when I decided to make an offer, Ed kind of “interviewed” me for more than half an hour on the phone just to make sure this is the right instrument for me. He played some tunes on it to let me hear once again if the sound resonated with my expectation. He went through every detail with me about the guitar luthier, the care of the guitar, and the delivery instructions, etc.. I didn’t imagine that buying a guitar would be like taking an exam, but immediately I felt responsible for the commitment I was going to make.

The guitar was shipped well-packaged and arrived safely in a week while Ed kept sending me the shipping updates and “be patient” notes. His kind reminders kept arriving even after I received my guitar. You know, just like a parent cares for his beloved child, Ed cares about not only the guitar itself but also its companionship with the new owner. I’m pretty touched, to be honest.

Ed was right. I’m extremely happy and already fell in love with my new guitar. Not to mention the beautiful craftsmanship, it’s singing voice brightens up every moment of my day. I’m glad that Ed made my purchase experience so pleasant and personal, and the whole transaction so smooth. I’ve no doubt recommend Guitars From Spain to everyone, because it’s not about getting a new guitar only, but also the attention and the love of music that Ed delivers during the process.
