The requinto guitar quality is really good and sounds amazing. I also loved seeing all the extra goods that came with the guitar in the case. John Avalos

Choosing a guitar can be a daunting task. It requires weighing multiple aspects, knowledge, and guidance, as well as trying out the instrument itself. After a series of attempts at several stores, I couldn’t find a guitar that would “speak to me”, until I found out about GFS and met Eduardo Macadar.
Suffice it to say, GFS is not a store, but something so much better. If there’s something similar to being at a luthier’s workshop, it’s got to be this. Eduardo is not a simple middleman, but rather, a living bond between you and the makers of your next guitar. Whether you feel like a guitar guru or someone who doesn’t even know where to start, I highly encourage you to look for your instrument here. My experience at GFS was no mere shopping. It ended up transcending the purchase of my guitar and becoming an excellent opportunity to learn, appreciate, and discuss the beauty of what the birth and life of such an instrument encompasses. I’m grateful I met Eduardo, whom I really appreciate and consider a good friend. Julio ZepedaJuan Hernandez Romance Cedar
I enthusiastically recommend Guitars from Spain for anyone looking to purchase a fine classical guitar.I’m an amateur player who took lessons over 25 years ago but then stopped playing regularly. I just retired and now have more time to devote to the guitar. I spend most of the year in Florida, so I wanted to leave my old guitar up north and find a second guitar for the many months I’m in Florida. I called Eduardo of Guitars from Spain, and he set up an appointment for me to visit as soon as he had a whole day free to show me some guitars. I arrived at 11 and left four hours later! Eduardo spent that whole time with me. First, he looked over my old guitar and played it, then discussed with me my goals and history with the guitar. He then had me try six different guitars, playing the same piece on each one, then repeating the process, then again. . . . I would tell him whether I found it comfortable to play and how I liked its sound. Eduardo would often ask me to expand my answer, i.e., which attributes of the sound did I like most, and which didn’t appeal to me. As we narrowed the choices, I again repeatedly played the smaller number. Eventually, we narrowed the number of guitars down to two. We then took a break and Eduardo explained something about the shops in Valencia where the guitars he was showing me were made. Then, I tried six different guitars and repeated the process! Eventually, I narrowed the choice down to two, which I then compared with the two from the first group. The entire process was challenging because initially I really liked all twelve guitars, but eventually, I could detect differences that were important to me. I then narrowed the options to two guitars. Throughout the day Eduardo exerted no pressure to choose one guitar over the other, and he never rushed me to decide. Near the end, I had a good idea which of the final two I preferred, but when Eduardo played pieces for me on both, there was no doubt in my mind. It turned out I had selected a Juan Hernández Romance Cedar with back and sides of Granadillo. I now play it 1-2 hours a day and couldn’t be happier with my choice. You won’t go wrong working with Eduardo. He is passionate about the guitar and is passionate about finding the instrument that will make playing the guitar a richer part of your life. David Wise.

We visited Guitars from Spain a few weeks ago to buy a guitar for our son who has been playing for quite a few years.
Eduardo was a wonderful host and really helped us in making the best possible decision. He provided us with a lot of information on the built techniques of the guitar, and the quality of the materials, and above all had our son try multiple times instruments that he felt more comfortable with. We were under no pressure, Eduardo was simply there to showcase his wonderful selection and make you feel like you were in the laboratory in Spain with the makers of these beautiful instruments. We ended up choosing an amazing Juan Hernandez Concierto guitar, although Eduardo also suggested some cheaper but equally impressive guitars as alternatives.
Needless to say, we are extremely happy not only with the choice of instrument but even more with the fact that we got it at Guitars from Spain. Spending time with Eduardo was so pleasant and educational and we left his studio with the full conviction that we had chosen a beautiful instrument for our son. Gracias Eduardo !!
