The Antonio de Toledo “Ramirez” Cedar is a professional classical guitar crafted from the highest quality tonewoods, designed for advanced and professional solo players. Inspired by the designs of Manuel Ramirez and Santos Hernandez, this 100% handmade Ramirez model follows the Spanish luthier tradition while blending traditional and modern guitar-building methods, resulting in an elegant instrument that is “effortless” to play.
Like most of Antonio de Toledo’s guitars, the “Ramirez” model is very lightweight and features a powerful, well-balanced tone with long sustain and strong projection. It includes a Red Western cedar top, a spectacular Granadillo back and sides, an ebony fingerboard, a cedar neck, and a comfortable D-shaped neck profile. Additionally, it has a bone saddle for adjustable string action. The straight fan bracing provides the perfect balance of colorful sound, significant volume, and outstanding projection. This guitar is suitable for advanced and professional players, delivering a robust, transparent, and beautiful tone. It is recommended for all players; however, due to its slightly narrower body (3.74 inches vs. 4 inches), smaller individuals and women often find it particularly comfortable, without sacrificing playability or sound quality.
The guitar comes with a GFS Deluxe wooden hard-shell case, one set of Savarez strings, a guitar cloth, a Humitron humidifier, and a universal guitar protector (an accessory package valued at $250 included).
Antonio de Toledo, in partnership with W. Jellinghouse Guitars, represents a new generation of Spanish guitars that fuse mastery and tradition with modern technology. Antonio de Toledo offers a wide variety of classical and flamenco guitars, from studio to professional models, all featuring a minimum of 10 years of wood drying.
