I started taking lessons from Eduardo Macadar of Guitars from Spain about four years ago. I was using an old hand-me-down guitar from one of my kids. Eduardo never suggested that I get a better guitar until I told him I thought I was ready. He then sent me to a guitar store to try different instruments to get an idea of what I might enjoy playing. Only then did he mention that he had some guitars available for me to try.
I tried three or four different types of guitars until I found one that felt good and sounded great. Eduardo didn’t sell me a guitar. He helped me find the right one for me.
BTW, he is also an excellent teacher. He clearly cares about all aspects of teaching – the music, the instrument, and, most of all, the student.

Eduardo outfitted me with a complimentary guitar case, extra strings, and other items and taught me how to use them to properly care for my new guitar. I set an appointment for the next day and within two hours I had the most amazing new guitar, far beyond any expectations that I had. The two hours I spent with Eduardo choosing the right guitar for me were also Guided by his humble expertise, patience, and understanding of the instruments from the makers to the workmanship. Compre una guitarra Paco Castillo T-C/E, excelente instrumento, terminación de una calidad impecable pero lo mas importante, un sonido espectacular tanto amplificada como sin amplificar. Pero lo mas increíble, fue la atención que recibí vía chat al momento de la decisión de la compra. Honestamente yo no sabia muy bien cual guitarra comprar, como todos saben, hay una variedad gigante en el mercado de diferentes opciones, marcas y modelos, asique les pedí asesoramiento via chat, Eduardo y el equipo de Guitars from Spain, no son simplemente vendedores de guitarras, ellos entienden de verdad, seguramente deben ser musicos y excelentes profesionales, porque en pocos minutos supieron detectar que tipo de guitarra o mejor dicho, que guitarra era ideal para mi. Thank you Eduardo for the magnificent and beautiful I bought from you. Esteve 7RS.Before I had bought 3 guitars in Guitar Center, but I always had to return them because they were brought to me scratched, they seemed used, from the Alhambra brand. I met Eduardo -GFS, and he dedicated two hours to me, reviewing and explaining each of his guitars so that I could decide which one I wanted to stay with, the truth is that they were all excellent, but he also helped me to say which one would suit me better. and this included the price. Eduardo is a serious person when it comes to dealing with the client, and what most caught my attention is that he never encouraged me to buy the more expensive one. Ya antes había comprado 3 guitarras en Guitar center, pero siempre las tenía que retornar por que me las traían rayadas , parecían usadas de la marca Alambra. Hasta que me encontré con Eduardo-GFS y me dedicó dos horas,revisando y explicándome cada una de sus guitarras, para que pudiera decidir con cual me quería quedar,la verdad es que todas eran excelentes pero también me ayudo a decir con cual me acomodaría mejor y esto incluía el precio. Eduardo es una persona seria para el trato con el cliente, y lo que más me llamo la atención es que nunca incitó a comprar la más cara, el sabe muy bien lo que uno desea y para que.Me dio muy buenos concejos y espero algún día volver tener negocios con Eduardo. I needed a nylon string guitar for my son. I tried many different online and physical stores until I found these guys in Florida. A fellow called Eduardo picked up the phone and helped me understand I was looking for my son. After a few minutes, I decided this was the right company to work with. The guitar was shipped the next day and although the weather here in New York is horrible we got the guitar with FedEx in perfect condition. I really appreciate all the help Eduardo gave me. The Narrow Body guitar fits my son’s size and hands perfectly and the sound is awesome. I hope to visit your studio next time I travel to Florida.
