Vicenete Carillo India 1ra
I was looking for a good Flamenco guitar and I noticed that “Guitars from Spain” have a nice offering from student-level to expensive, high-end professional instruments, so I gave them a call. Talking to Eduardo was a pleasure. We chatted a lot about guitars, luthiers, players, and most importantly my experience as a guitarist and what I am looking for in a Flamenco guitar. Based on the conversation, he recommended a Vicente Carrillo India 1a “Negra”. I was familiar with Vicente Carrillo’s guitars and I liked them, so I have decided to give it a try.
The guitar was shipped promptly and it arrived well-packed in a high-quality hard-shell case and with a number of accessories, a guitar cloth cover, and an additional set of strings of my preference.
When I started playing it, I realized that I got a fantastic guitar, a truly inspiring instrument! Its resonance reminds me of the great Santos Hernandez guitars from the 1920s-1930s. Thank you, Eduardo and “Guitars from Spain”! Bogdan Tudor ![]()
Francusci Esteve 7SR
I was shopping for a Classical guitar when I came across Guitars From Spain online. I was in Jamaica at the time and planning to travel to South Florida. I contacted Eduardo and we communicated via WhatsApp, he was very personable and helpful. He was going to be out of the country at the time I would arrive in Florida, but we set up an appointment to meet up on his return. He kept in touch with me while he was away which I appreciated. The guitar I was interested in was the Esteve 7SR, the price was right and Eduardo had done a review of it on YouTube so I had some idea of how it sounded. When we finally met up at Eduardo’s studio, I was very impressed with his warmth and his professional manner. He welcomed me in and offered me a seat and some water. He went straight to the business of getting to know a bit about me and my playing, I had a few questions for him and he gave me the answers I was hoping for. He brought out 4 guitars that were around my price range and had me play each of them without identifying the one I came to purchase. I was never rushed, he gave me a few pointers while I was playing and he also played each guitar so I could hear how each one sounded from in front rather behind the soundboard. In the end, I picked the one I came for. It was meant to be. I love my Esteve 7SR and I absolutely love the service, attention to detail, warmth, and professionalism shown by Eduardo. Oh, I got a set of strings, and a guitar humidifier at no extra cost. It was the best guitar-shopping experience I have ever had. I am definitely buying my next guitar from Eduardo at Guitars From Spain in Boca Raton Florida. Thanks, Eduardo. Sandra Sims ![]()

The seller shipped immediately, and the guitar arrived as promised; the same guitar as in the picture. It is brand new, beautiful, and plays wonderfully. I asked Eduardo if the guitar pictured was the exact guitar for sale, and he assured me that it was. The very same guitar arrived, brand new and well packaged. It looks beautiful and is a joy to hold and play with. My experience with doing business with Eduardo and Guitars from Spain was exceptional. Thank you. Roger Caffey ![]()
Juan Hernandez Romance
Had a great experience with Guitars from Spain. Eduardo took the time to explain many details about the guitars … and other things as well. I was able to spend a good amount of time trying different guitars and finding the right one for me. My Juan Hernandez Romance cedar guitar is amazing! , and I am very pleased with it. Definitely recommend the place and experience. Sebastian B. ![]()

I’ve been on the market for a good quality classical for some time now. I’ve found lots of online places with good products, meaning I would have to make a deal without knowing how the guitar would really sound, without touching or playing it. It was a difficult proposition!
Then I found Guitars from Spain.
Let’s just be honest and say the regular music stores in the area do not offer the products that GFS offers, not to mention the personalized attention you get.
Eduardo Macadar (owner) has made this experience much easier than expected. He put at my disposition around 6 or 7 different instruments, with different materials, finishing, and characteristics based on a preliminary conversation we had over the phone before the meeting. I visited his studio and literally played for hours (yes, I said hours) all the guitars he had lined up for me until I found the one. No sales pressure, a very comfortable environment. Eduardo demonstrates deep knowledge of his products, and explained all details of each instrument he offered, showing differences and similarities between models. I happily left his place carrying what I believe was the right choice for me. I highly recommend Guitars from Spain. Call Eduardo and you will not be dissatisfied. ![]()

Second purchase, Classical guitar
A few months ago I purchased a flamenco guitar from Guitars from Spain (see paragraph below). Recently I purchased a classical guitar, and my experience was just as positive as the first time. The (signed, handmade) guitar is a one-of-a-kind beauty. It arrived in perfect condition, with a perfect set-up, and great “extras” (case, strings, humidifier, guitar protector). I had seen detailed photos and video clips, so I was pretty sure about my choice, but Eduardo (the owner of Guitars from Spain) was very generous in allowing me time to get to know the guitar before making up my mind. I can’t say enough positive things about this dealer. The personal customer attention is unparalleled, and the quality of the instruments is top-notch. Prices are extremely fair, considering the craftsmanship, import costs, customer service, and included accessories. If you aren’t sure what kind of guitar you want or need, contact Eduardo and he will find your perfect match! ![]()
Prudencio Saez Madagascar
I met Eduardo from GFS, in a mad dash for a fine guitar. This 6-PS is one of the 3 finest guitars I’ve ever had. Eduardo had out several guitars that I played. all were very fine, good playability and deep tones from great wood. The 6-PS was the choice. After getting it home and playing on it in my home the playability and the tone, a Western Red Cedar backed by warmth from Madagascar Rosewood and getting as many different tones as I could get with it I’d like to tell anybody that’s looking for the perfect balance between tone and playability to choose this one. The fretting is sure, and that’s what makes me call this one, one of the 3 best guitars I’ve ever owned. All the lines from the nut to the bridge, string, fretboard, top of the guitar to the bridge with the doming behind the bridge, are perfect. Hats off to you, Eduardo. I’ll be playing this one for a long time to come. Kevin Bishins ![]()
Prudencio Saez 1 SP cedar
Hi, my name is Luis. I am one of Prof. Eduardo’s students, and my experience with him has been phenomenal from the beginning. I started learning how to play a classical guitar with him, and I felt the need to obtain a new guitar to further my studies. When I asked him about it, he set some time aside for me to try out a couple of guitars and see which ones I liked. So I wound up bringing my mother with me, and the three of us spent hours together just talking about the guitars. Prof. Eduardo is such an educated, kind, and passionate person when it comes to guitars. He gave us his honest opinions on the guitars he showed us, and we ended up leaving with a Prudencio Saez guitar of fantastic craftsmanship. Every time I start playing I fall in love with it all over again. If you plan on getting a guitar, GFS is the correct spot. You will be put in the hands of a professional who truly cares about their work. Boca Raton FL. ![]()
