The Prudencio Saez Flamenco Luthier – Pro, also known as the PS Flamenco Pro, is a concert-grade flamenco guitar designed for discerning players who demand tonal immediacy, structural precision, and high-performance ergonomics.

Construction & Materials

• Soundboard: Select-grade German Spruce (Picea abies), renowned for its sensitivity, dynamic range, and projection—ideal for percussive flamenco techniques like rasgueado and golpe.

• Back & Sides: Solid Spanish Cypress (Cupressus sempervirens), configured in a 3-piece back layout to improve structural stability and optimize lower-bout tension, enhancing articulation and bass response.

• Neck: Spanish Cedar (Cedrela odorata), reinforced with dual carbon fiber rods for long-term stability, neck stiffness, and minimized dead spots—essential under the stress of low action and golpe-style playing.

• Fingerboard: Premium Ebony, planed for low relief and high-speed articulation, ideal for advanced picado and arpeggio work.

• Bridge & Binding: Hand-carved Indian Rosewood components offering durability and visual contrast, with tonal dampening qualities suited for fast attack and short sustain typical of flamenco.

• Rosette: Traditional mosaic inlay.

• Purfling: Cedar inner purfling, structurally bonded to reduce top distortion over time.

• Finish: Nitrocellulose lacquer, applied thin to preserve acoustic responsiveness while providing modest surface protection.
