The Juan Hernandez Romance features a mature German Spruce top (Picea Abies) Robust Granadillo back & sides, Ebony fingerboard(Diospyros Crassiflora Hiern), Cedar neck (Cedrela odorata) Carbon fiber rods reinforcement, reinforced with ebony for the guitar’s longevity and tone stability, rosewood binding, gorgeous mosaic-purfling design, Schaller Machiners heads, and a soft nitrocellulose finish. The action is medium, with” Savarez Crystal Red” normal-tension strings, providing a very conformable neck profile even for the smaller hands. The most remarkable detail is the headstock design, demarking a unique elegant Juan Hernandez Spanish Artisan trademark. Juan Hernandez was born in Turís, -Valencia in 1948. Juan started at 15 of age as an apprentice in the Francisco Esteve guitar workshop, where he developed his outstanding skill and craftsmanship. Nowadays, together with his son Alberto Hernández, they build some of the most exquisite Spanish classical and flamenco guitars, made with time, great taste, and patience.
