The Juan Hernandez Concert Spruce is a magnificent handmade Spanish guitar. This powerful instrument is sensitive and sublime and a stunning visual and auditory experience. The Concert Spruce features a mature German spruce top, Indian rosewood back and sides, an ebony fingerboard, and a cedar neck reinforced with ebony for enhanced longevity and tonal stability. It is adorned with rosewood binding, a gorgeous mosaic-purfling design, and a beautiful nitrocellulose finish. The action is set at a medium height (3.5mm), and it is strung with “Savarez Crystal Red” normal-medium tension strings, providing a comfortable and soft neck profile, even for smaller hands. The Juan Hernandez Concert Spruce is recommended for advanced and professional classical nylon-string guitar players. The guitar includes a Cibeles semi-hard shell case with a plush interior, one set of Savarez Red HT classical strings, an Ultimate Guitar Protector (UGP), a Humitron humidifier, and a guitar cloth.

Juan Hernandez was born in Turís, Valencia, in 1948. He began his journey at the age of 15 as an apprentice in the Esteve guitar workshop, where he developed his skill and craftsmanship. Today, alongside his son Alberto Hernández, he continues to create some of the most exquisite Spanish classical and flamenco guitars, crafted with time, great taste, and patience.
