Juan Hernandez Concert Spruce – Premium Handmade Spanish Concert Guitar. The Juan Hernandez Concert Spruce is a magnificent example of Spanish lutherie at its finest.
Handcrafted in Valencia, Spain, this guitar delivers a perfect balance of power, sensitivity, and beauty, offering an extraordinary experience for both, the performer and the listener.
This concert-grade instrument features a mature German Spruce top, known for its clarity and projection, paired with Indian Rosewood back and sides for deep resonance and rich overtones. Its Ebony fingerboard rests on a Cedar neck reinforced with ebony, ensuring structural integrity and consistent tonal quality over time. The elegant details—rosewood binding, a refined mosaic purfling design, and a luminous nitrocellulose finish—add to the guitar’s refined aesthetic.
Set with medium action (3.5mm) and strung with Savarez Crystal Red (normal-medium tension) strings, the Concert Spruce provides a smooth, responsive neck profile that’s especially comfortable for smaller hands. A standout feature is the distinctive headstock design, a signature element of the Juan Hernandez tradition, symbolizing its heritage and artistry.
