The Antonio de Toledo “Recital” Spruce Elevated Fretboard is a professional classical guitar crafted from the highest quality tonewoods, designed for advanced and professional solo players. Inspired by the designs of Manuel Ramírez and Santos Hernández, this 100% handmade guitar utilizes selected tonewoods, following the Spanish luthier tradition while blending both traditional and modern guitar-building methods. The elevated fretboard facilitates effortless access to higher neck positions.
Like most of Antonio de Toledo’s guitars, the “Recital/Ramirez” model is very lightweight, featuring a powerful, well-balanced tone with long sustain and strong projection. It boasts a German spruce top, a spectacular Granadillo back and sides, an ebony fingerboard, a cedar neck, and a comfortable D-shaped neck profile. The straight fan bracing provides an ideal balance of colorful sound, significant volume, and outstanding projection. This guitar is perfect for advanced and professional players, delivering a robust, transparent, and beautiful tone. It is recommended for all players, particularly smaller individuals and women, thanks to its slightly narrower body (3.74 inches vs. 4 inches), which ensures comfort without sacrificing playability or sound quality.
The guitar comes with a GFS Deluxe wooden hard-shell case, one set of Savarez strings, a guitar cloth, a Humitron humidifier, and a universal guitar protector (an accessory package valued at $350 included).
