Antonio de Toledo “Ramirez” Spruce – Elevated Fretboard Classical Guitar

The Antonio de Toledo “Ramirez” Spruce model is a premium classical guitar, meticulously handcrafted for advanced and professional solo guitarists. Drawing inspiration from the legendary designs of Manuel Ramírez and Santos Hernández, this model is entirely handmade, employing the finest tonewoods and honoring the Spanish luthier tradition. It seamlessly blends traditional craftsmanship with modern innovations to meet the demands of today’s concert performers.

One of its standout features is the elevated fretboard, which enhances access to higher positions on the neck, offering greater ease and playability during complex performances. Created in collaboration with W. Jellinghouse Guitars, this model embodies a new era of Spanish guitar-making, where heritage meets cutting-edge design.

Like all Antonio de Toledo guitars, the “Ramirez” is lightweight yet powerful, delivering a well-balanced tone with excellent sustain and projection. It features a German spruce top, striking Granadillo back and sides, ebony fingerboard, and cedar neck with a comfortable D-shaped profile. The carefully engineered straight fan bracing ensures an ideal blend of tonal richness, volume, and dynamic range.

This guitar is suitable for a wide range of players but is especially appreciated by smaller individuals and women for its slightly slimmer body depth (3.74″ vs. the standard 4″), offering improved comfort without compromising tone or projection.

Included Accessories (Valued at $250):

  • GFS Deluxe wooden hard-shell case

  • One set of Savarez strings

  • Guitar polishing cloth

  • Humitron humidifier

  • Universal guitar protector
