Choosing a guitar can be a daunting task. It requires weighing multiple aspects, knowledge, and guidance, as well as trying out the instrument itself. After a series of attempts at several stores, I couldn’t find a guitar that would “speak to me”, until I found out about GFS and met Eduardo Macadar.
Suffice it to say, GFS is not a store, but something so much better. If there’s something similar to being at a luthier’s workshop, it’s got to be this. Eduardo is not a simple middleman, but rather, a living bond between you and the makers of your next guitar. Whether you feel like a guitar guru or someone who doesn’t even know where to start, I highly encourage you to look for your instrument here.
My experience at GFS was no mere shopping. It ended up transcending the purchase of my guitar and becoming an excellent opportunity to learn, appreciate, and discuss the beauty of what the birth and life of such an instrument encompasses.
