About Pedro de Miguel

Behind Pedro de Miguel‘s name 2 great guitar makers can be found: Pedro Pérez (1958-2008) and Miguel Ángel Rodríguez ( 1960-     ) At fourteen of age, they both started working in José Ramírez´s workshop, where they quickly learned the art of guitar building. It was until 1990 that they started to work with the master luthier of Ramírez the III. In 1991 they opened their own workshop in Madrid, where the brand “Pedro de Miguel” was created.  A perfect combination of 2 master luthiers. After Pedro´s death in 1998, Miguel continued making all these magnificent guitars under the same brand name “Pedro de Miguel”.   Some of the famous guitarists playing their guitars are Rafael Riqueni, Gerardo Núñez, Pepe Habichuela, or Jerónimo Maya and many more
